San Francisco Neighborhood Guide

Today I will continue telling you about the best places to live in San Francisco. Last week I talked about the urbanizations that I always frequent, so my knowledge is quite accurate, however today I want to tell you about other places in the city that although I do not have as much knowledge, they are good places to live.

- Nob Hill: I have a friend who lived in Nob Hill for a while and I know he was happy to live there, according to his references it is a place where you have all the essentials nearby (Supermarket, Gym, restaurants, etc.) and the prices of the They are more or less the same price as those in the center of the city. It is quite close to downtown and if you take the Cable Car (The same as you see in the movies or 3 × 3) you can get to Market Street in less than 20 minutes. The most characteristic of this place are its hills, so if you are not a lover of climbing the famous steep streets of SF, this is not a place for you.

- Marina: In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful places in SF, it has beautiful houses, the marina, the view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Fine Palace of Art, however if you do not have a car, the access to it can be A little complicated, since it does not have any Muni or Bart station nearby and can only be reached using buses. Many young people choose to live here, so it is full of bars, clubs and parties.

- Castro: It is the Gay neighborhood of the city, it is very famous for being the place where the gay movement in the United States began. The houses are very well maintained, good restaurants.

San Francisco things to do

- Noe Valley / Twin Peaks: There are two urbanizations quite family friendlies, many families live there, so if you have a family and you are looking for where to live these two places are a very good option. There are many children and dogs around here

- The Sunset: This place is the opposite of what its name suggests, you never really see the Sunset from here since it is always full of fog! It is very close to the sea, so if you are one of those who like to surf and live near the sea this is the place for you.

With this I cover my contribution on where to live in SF, in fact there are many other places inside and outside the city that are good to live, but since I do not know much about them I do not dare to speak

My best recommendation is that before closing a contract that moor them to an apartment for a year, research the area and see if it fits your needs and tastes. And remember, NEVER give money in advance!
